Meet Coach Dylan

Coach Dylan is the founder and head Strength & Conditioning Coach of FitDips in the Bay Area. He is a former NCAA Division I track & field athlete at Cal Poly, where he competed in the decathlon on an athletic scholarship and ranked 8th All-Time in school history with a personal best score of 7,045 points.

As a multi-event athlete, Dylan competed across all 10 events of the decathlon, developing elite-level speed, strength, coordination, and explosiveness. He also recorded a 14.68 personal best in the 110m hurdles, showcasing high-level sprint mechanics, power, and technical efficiency, key qualities he now emphasizes in youth athletic development.

Dylan graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science while balancing the demands of Division I athletics and year-round performance training. His collegiate experience with structured programming, performance tracking, and long-term athletic development directly shapes the training systems used at FitDips today.

With over 5 years of coaching experience and hundreds of athletes trained across the Bay Area, Coach Dylan specializes in youth athletic development, focusing on speed, agility, strength, and confidence. As a USA Weightlifting (USAW) Level 1 Certified Coach and a coach currently preparing for the Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), he is committed to continuously improving his knowledge and delivering professional, evidence-based training.

Coach Dylan’s sessions prioritize proper mechanics, measurable progress, and long-term development rather than short-term results. His mission through FitDips is to help athletes become faster, stronger, and more confident in a structured, supportive, and professional training environment that parents can trust.
